Parking: Main car park across a grass bank.
Access: Up a grass bank from the car park, straight into the function room.
Facilities: Fair amount of room to set up, width available: 3-4m, height clearance: 3-4m.
Staff: Duty manager can be intrusive, long extensions (up to 25m) required for power provision.
Wordsworth Suite:
The Good: No sound limiter, blinds/curtains provided, air conditioned, PLI requested, PAT requested.
The Bad: Temporary wooden dancefloor, no usable in-house lighting effects.
The Ugly: No stage area, haze/smoke prohibited.
Parking: Plenty of parking, excellent access from the rear of the hotel.
Access: Straight through fire exit doors into the room.
Facilities: No stage, width available: 4-5m, height clearance: 2-3m, plenty of 13A sockets nearby.
Additional Comments: Smoke/haze usually prohibited, free wifi for the first 20 minutes, Wordsworth Suite can be split into two via a partition down the middle.
